A traveler arrives at a different place. The place of the fruits of "Nirvana". Its kind inhabitants offer their fruits in a welcome gesture. Fruits that blur the past and the future, leaving the present as the only state to exist. Cut off from his memories and without goals and dreams, the traveler gets to know the creatures of this place, he is carried away by the acquired sense of happiness, a sense made of a fruit rather than as a result of personal development and experiences. A superficial and temporal bliss as it lies simply in the absence of thought, reflection and vision. The one that is often identified with the inner peace, the need to escape from such a difficult and problematic present, within a heavy and indebted past that reveals a dark and bad future. What will be the fortune of the traveler? will he manage to find the strength to escape or will he remain forever a prisoner of the eternal present?
The myth of the lotus eaters and its connection with the present. A story unfolds, blending the boundaries between myth and contemporary world seeking the wisdom and knowledge that carries a legacy - message of answer to the big existential question of Socrates: "Who are you?"
The lotus, as a symbol of oblivion, raises both existential and social questions. We live in the age of "information blast". People are unable to process all this size, ending up as thoughtless creatures with "short memory". The pace of evolution for humanity is so fast that the past is no longer useful. One of the reasons we reject it, is that the knowledge and experience of the previous generation no longer has use in any aspect of everyday life for the new generation. Needs are constantly created and the question arises, whether these are our real needs. How close are we to ourselves and our real needs? How do we manage information, technological development and personal relationships within the society we have shaped?
