for the educational movement program Skytali for the years 2019-2020.
Skytali is multidisciplinary educational program concerning dance, that aims in the development of enriched prospective dance educators from a personality, artistic and pedagogical point of view. In this way, the art of dance will be brought closer to the schools, the children and subsequently the community.
The program hosts free dance lessons in schools and is implemented with the contribution of numerous dancers, choreographers, artists and people from the academia, all participating on a voluntary basis. It is under the approval of the Hellenic Ministry of Education and the Institute of Educational Policy.
Currently, the program is supported by Reon, Quo Vadis Dance Company, the Organization of Sports and Culture for the Youth of the municipality of Athens, the center for the study of dance of Isidora and Raymond Duncan and by the School of Fine Arts of Athens. Skytali was founded and is managed by Pinelopi Liaskou (art director of Duncan center) and by Polina Kremasta (dancer, choreographer and tutor). Skytali has received a donation for two consecutive years for its realization by Stavros Niarchos Foundation. | http://skytali.gr/

This is the first time a greek dance company makes so many visits in several greek theaters, therefore, this is an important support for dance community and the greek culture as well.
